Right now we have guess papers for the Punjab boards only, for 9th class, 10th class, 1st Year and 2nd Year. Sindh, KPK, Balochistan and Federal Board (FBISE) guess papers are marked Coming Soon and will be added later. One guess paper serves all nine Punjab boards (Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi Khan), because they all set their papers from the same textbooks and the same paper pattern.
Guess papers, past papers and pairing schemes: what is the difference?
- A guess paper is a teacher’s shortlist of the questions they expect in the next exam: MCQs, short questions and long questions picked from the whole book. It saves revision time, but it is a prediction, not a promise.
- A past paper is a real paper from an earlier exam. It shows exactly how the board asks questions. See our Punjab board past papers.
- A pairing scheme shows which chapters are paired together and how many marks each part carries. Find them under pairing schemes.
Used together, they work best: read the pairing scheme to see where the marks are, practise past papers to learn the style, and use the guess paper in the last weeks to revise the most likely questions first. Never skip a chapter just because it is not in a guess paper.
How old are these guess papers?
Our current guess papers were made for the 2022, 2023 and 2024 annual exams. Most 9th class papers are 2024 editions, the 10th class papers are a mix of 2022, 2023 and 2024, and the 1st Year and 2nd Year papers are 2022 editions. We are adding the edition year to every class page and subject page, so you always know what you are downloading. Many questions repeat from year to year, so an older guess is still useful for revision, but check it against your current textbook, especially where the book has changed.
